Refund policy

If we do not deliver what you paid for, you get your money back. If you cancel, what you get back depends on how much of the work is already done.

We would rather fix a problem than refund it, so tell us early. Revisions are free for 14 days and usually solve it faster than a refund would.

• You cancel before a writer has started.
• We miss the delivery date we agreed and you miss your own deadline as a result.
• We tell you we cannot cover your subject after you have paid.
• You are charged twice for the same order.
• The work delivered is not what you ordered and we cannot put it right.

Once a writer has started, we pay for the hours already worked. What comes back to you depends on how far along the piece is when you cancel.

Once you have the draft, we look at each claim on its facts. We will refund in full where the piece ignores the brief you sent, misses the word count by a wide margin, or comes back with a similarity score we cannot justify.

Where part of the work is usable, we offer a partial refund or a free rewrite, and you choose which you would rather have.

• A mark you were unhappy with, where the work followed the brief you gave us.
• A brief that changed after we started, unless you paid for the change.
• A missed deadline caused by details you sent us late.
• Requests made more than 30 days after delivery.
• Orders where the work has been submitted and passed as your own.

We cannot guarantee a grade, and we say so in our terms of service. Your institution marks the work against criteria we do not control.

We reply within one working day and decide within five. Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid from. Your bank usually takes another five to ten working days.

Can I get a refund if I got a lower mark than I wanted?

Not on the mark alone, because marking is done by your institution against criteria we do not control. If the work did not follow the brief you sent us, that is a different matter and we will look at it.

If we miss the date we agreed and that causes you to miss your own deadline, you can claim a full refund.
